Rockstar Confirms GTA VI Pre-Orders Begin June 25

Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will begin on June 25, giving players their first official chance to reserve one of the most anticipated video games in years.

The announcement was made through Rockstar’s Newswire, where the company said pre-orders will open on digital storefronts and at select retailers. Players can currently add the game to their wishlist on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store to receive alerts when pre-orders go live.

GTA VI is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC release date at this stage.

The confirmation comes after months of speculation around when Rockstar would begin taking orders for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. The company also revealed official cover artwork alongside the pre-order update, adding to the build-up around the game’s release campaign.

GTA VI will take players back to Vice City, set within the fictional state of Leonida. The story follows Jason and Lucia, two central characters who become caught in a criminal conspiracy after an easy score goes wrong. Rockstar has described the setting as a modern, expanded version of the sun-soaked criminal world long associated with the series.

While the pre-order date is now official, Rockstar has not yet confirmed pricing, special editions, pre-order bonuses, or collector’s packages. Those details are expected to become clearer once pre-orders open.

The game is widely expected to be one of the biggest entertainment launches of 2026. GTA V, released in 2013, remains one of the best-selling video games of all time and continues to generate strong interest through GTA Online.

For now, players waiting for GTA VI can wishlist the game on supported console storefronts before pre-orders officially begin on June 25.
