Pakistan has reduced petrol and high-speed diesel prices by Rs. 1.97 per litre, bringing slight relief for motorists, transporters and businesses facing high fuel costs.
According to the latest fuel price update effective July 4, 2026, petrol now stands at Rs. 297.53 per litre, down from Rs. 299.50 per litre.
High-speed diesel has also been reduced by Rs. 1.97 per litre, bringing its new price to Rs. 309.50 per litre from the previous rate of Rs. 311.47 per litre.
The cut comes as part of the latest petroleum price revision. Petrol is widely used by motorcycles, cars and small vehicles, while high-speed diesel is mainly used in buses, trucks, tractors and goods transport vehicles.
